Often referred to locally and affecionately as simply "The Del," the Hotel del Coronado has a long, rich and storied past. It was a favorite venue for Charles Lindberg and Marilyn Monroe (Some Like it Hot with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon), Thomas Edison, Babe Ruth and eleven US Presidents, as well as England's Prince of Wales.
