I love this image, taken from East County looking west toward the city and ocean beyond, because it captures the beauty, balance and delicacy often found in nature. The tree limb in the foreground is both tack sharp and positioned so that the lower portion is pointing directly at the setting sun, which is the subject of the composition. It has become a favorite of viewers, as well.

Sunset Filigree
